Turns out "Biometrics" appointements in the visa process means "finger printing" in laymans terms... My agent asked what we were going to Scotland for, I said my masters in Graphic Design, he replied - "oh, cool! That I understand, another lady this morning said astrophysics, so atleast you are going for something normal"...
