Don't Drink the Water

Hello all!

Today we decided to head out to get our minds off of the lack of a beagle. It just so happen to be Canal Fest today, so we hit the streets and walked up to the festival. When there, we met up with Cash and Amanda, and joined in the festvities.

We arrived and started wandering around, exploring the different vendors. Music was playing and the sun came out, a lovely day to watch some home made boats race in some rather less than savory looking water.

The races soon began, and interesting is a good word. Some boats were quite functional, others, not so much. Many people ended up taking a swim in the drink, but everyone was smiling. We sat and watched along the canal, cheering on those who were having a less than amazing performance.

After watching some people swim along a canal, it was time to head out. A good day is always made better with cupcakes, so we stopped by the Cuckoo's Bakery for tea and deliciousness to end a great day out.
