Hello!
We spent today exploring "green spaces" with Audry. Once Lili is in school Audry & Andrew will have many free daylight hours to wander as they wish and both agree finding some good walking paths will be essential. Andrew has been doing reseach and has found that Edinburgh is actually rife with large parks, orchards and walking paths open to the public so each afternoon we have designated one to explore together. Today? Craiglockhart Woods/Orchard.

This wooded path is a 15min walk away (there is a closer entrance but it is temporarily closed due to construction) once there you are immidiatley transported to a fairytale wooded path (people have even hung chimes in the trees) and it is beautifully quiet.

Aside from one heated exchange with a labradoodle Audry adored all the smells and we both had fun soaking up the secluded sunshine. I can see this being one of Audry's favorites even though we only walked 25% of it today!

More soon!
