Climbing to the summit!

Hello All.

Andrew has been more than wonderfull being dragged all over for "school prep" stuff so today was his to plan as he wished. So we hooked up Audry, packed a backpack and went for a hike, to the top of the "mound" at Craiglockhart Preserve.

Aside from a minor "oh God I'm out of shape" moment by Lili we had a blast navigating the back woods paths and winding trails getting to the top. Once there we were greated by a fantastic view of Edinburgh all the way from Edinburgh Castle to the North Sea.

We sat on the benches and absorbed the view, took a bunch of photos and shared some water. Then we decended down the otherside and went for another meander around the Craiglockhard campus.

Four Miles later and feeling accomplished we topped the afterenoon off perfectly with 2 "Yum-yums" (doughnuts) as Audry played in the front garden. All in all a pretty perfect day!
