Hello all!
Today we took a journey (in the "gale force" winds) to the other side of Edinburgh towards Leith Walk. Lili was meeting up with some classmates in order to do some reaserch for an upcoming project, so Andrew tagged along so afterwards we could have a day out together!
After Lili's group disbanded we went off in seach of some vintage shops Andrew had read about online. On our way we discovered the Hard Rock Edinburgh and decided to stop in for lunch, they actually had real AMERICAN cheese!! It's the little things you miss!
While wandering about for a bit, we happened upon a few little shops with some ADORABLE little nic-nacks, if anyone is looking for Christmas ideas let us know! We've started a list! They even had egg cups apparently designed as an homage to Lili's dad!
After that we walked down arounf Princes Gardens and the castle toward Grassmarket Street, home to some legendary vintage shops. Our main search was for Armstrongs, and it did not dissapoint! It was a vintage Valhala! Don't worry though we know we have a tight budget, we looked but didn't touch.
Aside from the fact that it felt like we walked all day in a hurricane, the day was really beautiful, mid 60s and bright sun. It's a nice feeling to get a day out and breathe some fresh air, now back to work!!
More soon.
