Kickin' up some leaves

Hello all!
Today we went for a hike up in the hills of Edinburgh. The leaves are in full turn and we were having an unusually warm day and have been forwarned that the temperature is going to gradually plummet (can you gradually plummet? eh whatever) in the next few days so we decided to get out and enjoy it while we can! You know you are getting used to living in the UK when you see it's supposed to be 15 today and get excited! Hint... Celcius

The days are getting much shorter so even though we went for our hike at 2:30 the amber light of the sun going down was already taking over. It made for some beautiful shots.

Audry made a few friends, especially one labradoodle named Max whom she has become used to meeting on our weekend jaunts. He has some serious ADD but is proving to be rather endearing.

Since most of the big trees have lost all their leaves the view of Edinburgh is beautiful, you can see much farther than we could when we first arrived.

Walking a beagle is interesting enough on calm walks but give her an extended leash and open nature and your in for a treat! You get wound around trees, stuck in puddles and the opportunities for group photos are endless!

Audry decided the path less traveled, and the result were some serious muddy paws! You could hear her squishing all the way home. Perhaps a bath??? Eh, I don't think any of us are feeling up to that tonight!

More soon!
