Hello All!
Sorry we haven't been posting too much this weekend, Lili has had a ton of homework to do that seems to require a bunch of group work & traveling. This leads to fairly uneventful oucomes in terms of things to blog about... sorry. But here is a basic re-cap none the less.
First we went to the Morningside Farmers Market. We have been wanting to go, they are open every other Saturday and hopefully soon are switching to every Saturday.

They have a wide selection, everything from food, decorations and baked goods to knit wear and doggie treats! We think Audry needs a pair of knit booties to wear around the house when the snow hits!

Next we headed up to the Christmas craft market, a little less interesting but a good morning filler anyway... and now we know where to source a pastel portrait of Billy Connely if anyone needs one...

Next we went out and did our errands, we bought a small electric blanket for the sofa and to keep little beagles warm when we are out. Then went to the local french bakery and bought a merangue the size of a small car...

Audry has already become very territorial over her new blanket, and we learned something about electric blankets... they enduce beagle snoring... rapidly...

When we were out and about we stopped in some local charity/ thrift stores and some of the hand written price tags around this town are hillarious... like this one on a gentlemans house coat...

Sunday was a pretty mellow day because Lili had a group meeting to go to, but we still made time to goi out to brunch before everything got underway. We decided to try "Salt" a local cafe and we not disapionted. The brunch was delicions but a word to the wise, if you order the lemon iced tea off their menu, you will get lemon juice with a teaspoon of unsweetened black tea. Talk about eye-crossing sheesh... sour! But Andrew had the hot chocolate and it was great.

We are always finding exaples of local humor and the menu was no exception. The locals are under no delusion of how the weather around here can get, as evindenced by their decription of "Anti-Fogmatics".

Well that is it for now, we promise to endeavor to be more interesting in the coming days!
More soon!
