Audry the Beagle and the blustery day.

Hello All!
Sometimes a beagle just won't take no for an answer, and this was one of those days. Lili has been up to her ears in homework and this has made for some boring days for a certain beagle... this being the case we promised Audry a long hill ridden walk some time this weekend and seeing as we were quickly running out of "weekend" to choose from today seemed to be the day! Plus, Lili was beginning to speak in storyboard so time out would probably be theraputic.

Of course because we decided to go out it got super windy and sprinkling rain in that sort of way that makes you think it actually stopped raining an hour ago but thanks to the wind the same 10 drops keep hitting you over and over never making it to the ground.

But a promise is a promise so we all bundled up and headed out. All the leaves have fallen now so the path up to the Craiglockhart hill seems so much more vast then when we first came here in August. There are plump squirrels everywhere and that makes for fun times for a sweater clad pup with too much pent up energy.

Along with more space comes even more view, it's amazing how far you can see on a clear day, all the way from the water to Edinburgh castle.

Today was deffinitly a bring your pup outside day, Audry got to meet many fellow canines, including some refusing to leave!

Once at the hilltop we all had a good take in of the view but the wind was reaching hurricane strength and both Lili's pigtails and Audry's ears were feeling a little worse for the wear!

Once home we all took turns taking hot showers! Audry (against her will) went first...

Time to cuddle and make tea! Oh and turn on the heated blanket!

More soon!
