Hello all!
Today we braved the weather and went down to the Christmas Fair and Market. It is located down on Princes and St George St, but today was relegated to the Princes Street markets.

It is impressive walking up to it, with a ferris wheel and one of the highest spinning swings ever witnessed. It even made Andrew’s jaw drop at the staggering height.

Christmas Markets are huge all around Europe, and is a place for local artisans to sell their products, so most of it is locally made.

Not only are there tons of presents to buy, the smells emanating from the food and drink stalls are intoxicating and warming.

And in true Scottish form there is even a bar carousel for the grown ups... no danger there right?

For the kiddos there is a double decker carousel big enough for all.

There is also an ice skating rink that Andrew is threatening to take Lili out on.

It was a great time, and will be visiting again and attending some of the shows that are performed, once Lili finishes her final projects at the beginning of next week.

More soon!
