Hello all!

Today we braved the winter wind to go down to the Edinburgh Christmas Fesival. We got tickets to see the "Scotch & Soda" circus and vaudeville show taking place there tonight.

We got there a bit early to pick up our tickets and get something to eat before heading into the (heated) tent.

We were lucky enough to find a pretty good fish & chips stand and had full bellies as we headed into the show.

For those who don't know (which is probably most of you) here is the description of the "Scotch & Soda" show...

"A dusty bar. A rowdy mob of misfits. Lose yourself in the extraordinary beauty and power of Scotch and Soda – a whisky-soaked evening of raucous circus, dance and music."

Fun huh??!! hehe it waaaasssss! Observe...

We had a great time, and it was a brilliant respite from reality for a few hours, not to mention a pleasure to see people actually playing instruments... well no less!

After the curtains closed we headed home, through the twinkle of an Edinburgh Christmas with the promise of slippers and hot tea at home on our minds.
