The beagle is mobile!!!

Hello all!

Today was pretty mundane, wet and very cold, the only thing that was momentus was Audry's first bus ride!

We know Edinburgh is a very pet friendly town, she is alowed in pubs, most shops and we heard... the bus! Now that Lili is on break there are some day excursions we want to take to do some long walks and hikes and if we can we would love to bring the pup. Many of these places are not too far away but do require the use of public transport. We decided we would do a sample journey as a "tester" to gauge how she did on the bus.

What is a place any beagle would behave on a bus to get to?? The pet store! So we plotted out our route and bundled up.

Honestly she did very well, her biggest qualm was with the concept of waiting at the bus stop. Beagles aren't big waiters to begin with so the idea of just sitting there was not her idea of fun.

Once the bus arrived she hopped up on board and did a great job of being a model passenger.She was then rewarded by pet store love.

Being that Christmas is just a few days away we used the opportunity to stock up on beagle stocking stuffers... we tried to give her a say in the choices but the nose was off and she was only a blur reveling in all the new smells!
