Warm Baths and Hot Soup

It is amazing how much dirt a beagle accumulates over the period of only a month. Take her for weekly walks up muddy hills, and it is a wonder that she hasn't added 10 lbs in grime alone. This it was time for the monthly bath. Always a wonderful production, she went through the normal stages. Hide and give the large puppy eyes, when that doesn't work go limp, and her new found method that is going to end in disaster at some point, twitch and roll as much as possible as soon as Andrew picks you up.

She also has the uncanny ability of looking completely abused while in the bath.

All ends well though after a good run around then a long nap on the heated blanket.

After the bath Andrew was wonderful and made Lili feel better with some homemade chicken noodle soup, and everyone was comotose for the rest of the evening.
