Another weekend wander

Hello all!
Since Saturday was dedicated to hanging out with friends, it was time to take the pup for some exercise. Up Craiglockhart it was. A wonderfully sunny day, we thought of further wanderings but the wind that was oppresive yesterday, was still lingering around.

As always, Audry was excited and bounding around, deciding that listening to Andrew and Lili was an optional choice. The sun was shining down and made everything glow beautifully, bathing the trees in golden light for what seemed like the entire walk.

For the first time in a few weeks, the view of the top of Craiglockhart was one of sunshine. A reprieve from the coulds and fierce winds that define the Edinburgh winter, we spent some time soaking in the sun, hoping it to stay around for more than a day.

We descended through the wood, heading back home, stopping for some more vistas, as the hills were dusted with snow, and Andrew enjoyed a view he hadn't seen for quite a few years while living in Florida. Audry was enjoying climbing around and investigating everything, including fallen trees on the trailside.

Finally we made it back home, to nice cuppa tea and some dinner before watching the Patriots and Seahawks battle it out for complete football supremecy.

More soon!
