Hello all!
Tonight we decided to head out for a night on the town. Cash and Amanda joined to go see the musical Return the Forbidden Planet. We got all dolled up and jumped on the bus to go meet our friends.

One should never go see a musical without proper nurishment, so we met up at an Indian tapas style reteraunt for good grub. Many dishes were ordered, and after much sampling of different foods, we left satisfactorily full and headed down to the theater.

The flyer was what first caught our attention a few months ago, and then the poster started showing up at bus shelters and it was decided, an outing was required. For those who don't know...
''The adored and critically acclaimed Olivier Award winning rock spectacular is returning on a much anticipated 25th anniversary UK tour.Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and packed with rock ‘n’ roll classics such as Heard It Through the Grapevine, Young Girl, Good Vibrations and GLORIA with stunning special effects and a brilliant cast of actor musicians this is THE great night out to remember!''

We were excited to see what this was going to be. As the lights dimmed, the actors took the stage, and we all became slightly confused. The sets and plot were cheesey, in the fun 1950's scifi way, and the music was rockin, buuuut when the cast started speaking in psuedo Shakesperian English, we all became a bit confused. However, after intermission and discussing, the second half pulled through, and the cast did an amazing job. They are extremely talented muscians and actors, and we all had a lot of fun sitting there trying to figure out what was going on. In the end a good time was had by all, and we had the chance to listen to some really good music.

The show closed and it was time to make our way back to a beagle. Smiles all around we parted our ways and taked of the next adventure...
More soon!
