A family visit!

Hello all!

Firstly, we appologize for the lack of blog posts recently. With Lili working 24/7 on her final project even if we did a post every day they would all feature 1 thing, Lili working, and unfortunately this doesn't make for interesting blogging.

But at last! We have bloggable news! Lili's family is in town... All of them! Well, not all, but a bunch! Yey!

It's really great to have a resbite from working and to have family here is even better.

Thursday morning we welcomed Lili's Aunt Linda, cousin Kelley and her boybriend Matt. They hail from New York and although only staying a few days were a sight for sore eyes!

Friday we added Lili's mom & dad to the gang...

and finally saturday saw the arrival of Lili's uncle David and cousin Andrew, hailing from Florida.

To say Audry was only a little excited to see familiar faces is an understatement!!

We began the day out with lunch at the White Horse pub, home to the "best pies in Edinburgh". We all enjoyed lunch after only waiting 2.5 hours while the lone kitchen guy did his best to microwave nine pies... but to be fair the pies were home made and had good flavors but varried between hiccupp inducingly dry and swimming in gravy. Alas! Onward!

To kick the vacation off we went royal. Off to Edinburgh Castle! Being that it's Easter weekend it was only us and half a million other people all with the same idea... but the weather this weekend has and promises to continue to be beautiful, so bring on the view!

Cannons, guilding and diamonds as big as a tennis ball, what more could you want?

We all had a fun time taking pictures, looking up realitives and planning future viral videos before heading back to our flat for a dinner of Indian take away and laughs.
