Easter perfection

Hello all!

Ok, firstly, today... wait for it.... it was 64 and not a cloud in the sky! Bright blue and perfect!

We all began the day with a Easter Brunch at one of our favorite places Montpeliers in Bruntsfield.

Linda, Kelley & Matt didn't have to head off to the airport untill later so it was really great having everyone together on such a beautiful day.

Everyone got their favorites from pancakes to sandwiches and Kelley rose to the challenge and tried the daunting HAGGIS!

The verdict? Not bad! (apparently... we are not going to try and verify)

After lunch we took our ques from the locals and headed for a stoll in the park.

A day like today comes around so very rarely and to have it be on a weekend, not to mention one where we all are together is too good to pass up.

There were habachi grills, cricket matches, even sword fight practice, all under the bright blue.

Finally it was time to say our farewells to Linda, Kelley and Matt. Having them come to see us, even for such a short time has been priceless. We adore all three of them and wouldn't have traded the little time we had for anything.

After fond goodbyes were complete, the rest of us headed off to pick up Audry at the flat and take full advantage of the warm and walk up the Craiglockhart hill.

The view was so clear from the old campus even we had to admit we could see the farthest we have seen yet.

The old building was fun to snoop around and Audry had fun being pack leader.

Once at the top it was hard not to just stay forever. The sun was warm and even the breeze felt nice.

We all soaked up some vitamine C and enjoyed the scenery.

Everyone was in a playfull mood, how could you not be with the thought that spring may actually exist! Even if only for a day or two.

We ended our walk ready for a nice dinner, under a rainbow still in short sleeves! Not bad huh??
