Hello all!

Today the weather decided to be wonderful again, so we took a trip up to the Royal Botanical Gardens to wander around in the warmth. This being the first week of warmer weather, many of the trees have not had the chance to fill out yet, so our first stop was the glasshouses.

Constructed in the mid 1800's, the original two glass houses still stand and are marvelous structures. They are accompanied by 8 other glass houses, with flora ranging from tropical orchids to the arid desert. We spent our time following the meandering paths and enjoying a slower pace.

Afterwards it was outside to wander the grounds some more and soak up all the sun we could before it disappears, this is Scotland so at some point it will. We headed home happy and looking forward to another nice day tomorrow.
