Hello all!

It is April, and spring is here. Today it was at least. Lili and Andrew were up early this morning to get to the labs and get some acrylic cut in the labs, and just couldn't waste the rest of the lovely weather. The temperature was pushing 70, so they hitched up the pup and went up the hill.

Sunny days of this caliber are not the most common in Scotland we have been told, and on days like today there are people everywhere. The parks are covered in people frolicking, but for some reason Craiglockhart was quiet.

We reached the top, and lounged around, soaking in every bit of sun and warmth we could. The sky burning blue over head, we took our time, and slowly made the walk back to the flat. One of the amazing things about Scotland as the summer approaches is the light. It doesn't get dark till 8:30 pm, so heading up the hill at 5 is perfectly fine, and coming back down after 7 still feels like 4 in the afternoon.

We reached the flat with smiles all around and hungry. After some food, we all crashed out, some harder than others.

More soon!
