Hello all!
Today was the big day, hanging of the quilt. We headed up the school around noon, and after a quick trip for some food, it was time to get to work. We just bit the bullet and hung the quilt first. Thanks to Andrew's wonderful handyman skills, this was easy. On Friday we had installed the hanging brackets, which were perfectly level, so it just became a matter of feeding the bar through the expertly sewn pocket on the back of the quilt, and viola!

Next became a bit more complicated, installing the jewelry. Time for Gladis to make her big debut! For those who are out of the loop, Gladis is the mannaquin that was graciously donated by our friend Zoe so be used to display Lili's jewelry she has created as part of her final project. A little bit of glue, a little bit of tape, and Gladis finished her transformation from mannequin to art model.

Done! Now all there is to do is go to the opening next week, and hang all the posters for the advertising class show that Lili is also a part of, but more on that later. Now if we can only keep the crazies away from the quilt...

More soon!
