Hello all!
Tonight was opening of the major projects art show for Edinburgh Napier University, hooray! The day evening started out with Cash and Amanda coming over to the flat to get ready. They had spent the afternoon finalizing some bits of a display piece they had up. When everyone was ready, we headed up for the party.
We arrived and got down to it. Lili spent much of the time chatting with different people about her project, and received much admiration and congrats on a job well done. When she wasn't doing this she was mingling with both her graphic and advertising classes, and just in general enjoying an evening celebrating all the hard work that has been put in over the last 8 months. Andrew spent his time mingling and wandering around.
We have spent a fair amount of time in the past few weeks working in the labs, which happened to be across the way from some of the undergrad degree shows and have seen some work in different phases of unfinished. This peaked our interest, so a few of us decided to wander about and see what they had produced. Everything from motorcycles available on a memory stick, to cat chandeliers was on display, and we were impressed. They did a lovely job it was nice to walk through and see what all the fuss was about.
By the end of the night, we were both tired. Lili had spent much time discussing her work with visitors, and when not she had joined Andrew in socializing with their friends and families that had come to see what everyone had produced. Seeing as that the ice cream shop is on the way home, Andrew felt Lili deserved some for a job well done. A quick pop in, a few scoops each, and back home to crash out with a pup who was quite happy to see us.
