A Few Days at a Time

Hello all!
Sooooo the past few days have been a bit busy. As part of the degree show Lili is required to spend some time monitering it so other students and outsiders can come and check it out. This means that Andrew came along for some entertainment, and so in the off time they were given decided to check out some of the other work. The undergrad photo show was a must hit, and not bad, but nothing great.

The following day brought upon that time, rent was due. Andrew and Lili decided first to get some lunch and then stop over to pick up some cupcakes from the new bakery in Bruntsfield. Lili decided to go with the chocolate with chocolate ganache and Italian mirengue dipped in dark chocolate, while Andrew went with a simple vanilla. With the cupcakes safely boxed up and waiting for tea, it was time to set out to pay rent.

Now, we know what you are thinking, how is going to pay rent exciting? Scotland makes it exciting. As we started down the street, a cloud came over and obstructed what was a very nice day, and then that cloud started to lightly rain. Ducking for cover under some lareger overhanging trees, we decided to wait it out. Then it started to rain harder, or so we though, no it was starting to hail! Quickly we ducked for cover inside a nearby telephone box, luckily they still exist in Scotland. Ten minutes later and wetter than when we started, the rain and hail let up and it was off to pay rent.

On the way back home Cash and Amanda messaged us to see if we wanted to join them for dinner. Being wet and not wanting to grocery shop, we eagerly said yes. Home it was to pick up the pup, and after a cuppa hot tea, we hopped on the bus and made our way for a fun evening with friends.

Arriving at Cash and Amandas, we were greeted and Audry quickly found her chair. Pizza was ordered and after much debate a movie was chosen. This is where things get dodgy, because the movie we chose was less cinematic master piece and more... crazy random why-was-this-made awesomness. I am sure you are all wondering what movie so here goes, don't judge, Iron Sky, the director's cut. What is this Iron Sky you ask? Imagine if the Nazi retreated to the dark side of the moon at the end of World War 2, only to return in 2018 to try and take over the world! Intrigued yet? If so, find it watch and be prepared for some amazing terrible movieness, if not, well you are missing out.

Soon it was time to head home, otherwise Audry was not going to give up her comfy chair and blanket. We grabbed her up, went home and decided to call it a day.
More soon!
